SOG Assisted Technology Increases Speed, Safety, and Usability
When you go to unfold the B67-N's straight-edge blade or full-serrated blade, SOG's proprietary S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) takes over. High-tension coil springs propel the blades open, easily accessible with just one hand.
S.A.T. multi-tools offer security and peace of mind with their locking mechanisms that are stronger, more reliable, and easier to access than other multi-tools. When not in use, the blades lock closed using a patent-pending side release, and while in use, the blades lock in the open position.
Compound Leverage Technology and Explosive Ordnance Features Provide Easy, Safe Use
Driven by an exclusive interlocking gear system, SOG's patented Compound Leverage technology is a legend in folding tools. With the proprietary technology's increased leverage, SOG pliers generate twice the power of their conventional counterparts, minimizing the amount of hand pressure that is required to get the most torque out of the tool.
SOG is the only company to apply Compound Leverage technology to EOD-specific (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) multi-tools. This technology makes the B67-N an ideal tool for crimping blasting caps and demolition cord with minimal hand pressure. One of this tool's EOD-specific features is the position of the crimper device within the handle, not in the plier jaw like in other brands' tools. This design serves to minimize collateral damage to the crimper and allows you to have uninterrupted use of the plying surface. Additionally, the crimper produces non-flaring, high pull-out strength crimps that meet government fuse well specifications.
The B67-N is GSA approved.
